季羨林先生在《牛棚雜憶‧緣起》中說到的一些話，與本人的心聲相近，特此節錄，藉以自況、自娛，更希望各讀者能明瞭。

我同今天的青年，甚至某一些中年人談起這一場災難來，他們往往瞪大了眼睛，滿臉疑雲，表示出不理解的樣子。從他們的眼神中可以看出來，他們的腦袋裏裝滿了疑問號。他們懷疑，我是在講《天方夜譚》，我是故意誇大其辭。他們懷疑，我別有用心。他們不好意思當面駁斥我；但是他們的眼神卻流露出：「天下哪裏可能有這樣的事情呢？」我感到非常悲哀、孤獨與恐懼。
我感到悲哀，是因為我九死一生經歷了這一場巨變，到頭來竟然得不到一點瞭解，得不到一點同情。我並不要別人會全面理解，整體同情。事實上我對他們講的只不過是零零碎碎、片片段段。有一些細節我甚至對家人好友都沒有講過，至今還悶在我的心中。然而，我主觀認為，就是那些片段就足以喚起別人的同情了。結果卻是適得其反。於是我悲哀。
我孤獨，是因為我感到，自己已屆耄耋之年，在茫茫大地上，我一個人踽踽獨行，前不見古人，後不見來者。年老的像三秋的樹葉，逐漸飄零。年輕的對我來說像日本人所說的「新人類」那樣互不理解。難道我就懷着這些秘密離開這個世界嗎？於是我孤獨。
我恐懼，是因為我怕這些千載難得的經驗一旦泯滅，以千萬人遭受難言的苦難為代價而換來的經驗教訓就難以發揮它的「社會效益」了。相再獲得這樣的教訓恐怕是難之又難了。於是我恐懼。
在悲哀、孤獨、死懼之餘，我還有一個牢固的信念。如果把這一場災難的經過如實地寫了出來，它將成為我們這個偉大民族的一面鏡子。常在這一面鏡子裏照一照，會有無限的好處的。它會告訴我們，甚麼事情應當幹，甚麼事情又不應當幹，決沒有任何壞處。
就這樣，在反反復復考慮之後，我下定決心，自己來寫。我在這裏先鄭重聲明：我決不說半句謊言，決不添油加醋。我的經歷是甚麼樣子，我就寫成甚麼樣子。增之一分則太多，減之一分則太少。不管別人說甚麼，我都坦然處之，「只等秋風過耳邊」。謊言取寵是一個品質問題，非我所能為，亦非我所願為。我對自己的記憶力還是有信心的。經過了所謂「文化大革命」煉獄的洗禮，「曾經滄海難為水」，我現在甚麼都不怕。如有人人讀了我寫的東西感到不舒服，感到好像是揭了自己的瘡疤；如果有人想對號入座，那我在這裏先說上一聲：悉聽尊便。儘管我不一定能寫出甚麼好文章，但是這文章是用血和淚換來的，我寫的不是小說。這一點想能到讀者的諒解與同情。

r1, r2？還是53, 54較好／標籤意義簡述
從前，我的網誌標籤編號，以「5?」（?即為由1至9之順序數字，排名沒分先後）系列來說出我參與過的社區互助組織。
後來，想起自己自少參與過的互相組織，不只九個，故想將宗教團體以r來表示，義工組織以v來表示。
但是，真的是事有湊巧，有兩個宗教團體原先巧合地排至53及54號。原來，還想將這兩個團體的標籤編號改為r1及r2，但是，還是「一動不如一靜」。因為53, 54, 還是比r1, r2更為全神與有意義。
另外，「0?」系列是自己的主觀感受與個人聯想的分類；「1?」系列是與教育及就業相關的分類；「2?」至「3?」系列是自己的興趣的分類；「4?」系列是與經典、傳統、古賢先哲有關的分類；「r?」系列是與宗教團體的分類，r for religion；「v?」系列是與義工組織、學生活動、校園逸事相關的分類，v for voluntary；「w?」系列是我工作過之工司的分類，w for working。

(w3) 慧聯織造廠：在沙士（SARS，國內同胞稱之為「非典型肺炎」或簡稱為「非典」）期間，被裁而失業後，由先母轉介的製衣公司。先為管理見習生（Management Trainee），負責公司電腦化之統籌與設計。後要求轉職為助理跟單（Assistant Merchandizer) ，負責與美國的客人、中港兩地的同事與供應商聯系。
(w4) Hyder Consulting Ltd：長期入院後，由Golden Deluxe的老闆及其女所轉介的英國上市之國際公司，從事地基及斜坡的設計、檢測、維修等工作。
(wa) 醫療輔助隊：第一份受薪的Part-Time工作，為成績出眾的不合群隊員。
(wb) Keenji Consulting Ltd：市場推廣公司。兼職為神秘顧意計劃的統籌及神秘顧問的培訓工作。
(wc) 工程師秘撈生意：幫不同的工程師朋友所成立的秘撈生意（瞞著公司而私自設立的公司）作工程設計的工作。
(wd) Tutor 100：網上補習導師轉介公司。名為兼職上門導師，實為為被宰的羔羊。
(wz) 教育新語：為了不想瞞稅及方便申請信用卡而成立的兼職上門補習導師（家庭教師）及地基設計之自顧人士商業登記。第一間自己一手成立的「一人公司」（英文為：One-man bank）。

Manic Words: - Counter-Strike (Half Life...) - YAD2007 Buddhist Youth Progression Camp for Asia
Subject: Manic Words: - Counter-Strike (Half Life...) - YAD2007 Buddhist Youth Progression Camp for Asia
In the Game of Counter Strike (Half Life...) - YAD2007 Buddhist Youth Progression Camp for Asia, my role was to act as a terrorist to be defended by the self-assigned "Ethics Team" in the camp. After the four-day role-playing game, I am totally exuasted and now, I've left only Half of my Life...
During the 4-day game, I've found that Chinese Language is a kind of lanuage of low accuracy and high degree of misleading. Many people have found that it is difficult to understand Chinese Language and meanwhile, many people misunderstood the meaning of Chinese Language. It's extremely strange that, Chinese people (people from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China) misunderstood Chinese Language usually whereas people from Singapore would have much higher capability to understand Chinese language better. On the other hand, Singaporians showed their friendship to foreigners by vigorously implementing all instructions set by the authority (Ethics Team) without examining the rationality, consciousness, the degress of meaningfulness and efficiency of those instructions. Anyways, the contructivism of Singaporian (teamwork and work efficiency) were clearly performed during the 4-day game.
Besides, many people always partially extracted phrases of traditional Chinese idioms with the words of the same pronounciation but wrong writing and hence, misleaded other the meanings of those partially mentioned Chinese idioms. For example, when people using the idiom: 三界惟心, they meant that they were saying something which were not related or even were contradict with what they thought. The right writing should be: 三界違心. This may be because the pronounciation of 違 is the same as that of 惟. The same kind of error repeated for the use of 萬法惟識 with repect to 萬法違識 - they were doing something which were contradict with basic human knowledge but they used the idioms 萬法惟識 to describe what they've done. When they were suffering from the adverse consequence due to their carelessness or poor arrangement, they would use their specially-created-by-their-own slogan, 有佛法就有辦法, so as to self-entertain and hence instruct their followers to continue the programme with mistakes rather than to stop for re-thinking or re-arranging a better and more conscious solution.
Besides, the creativity of Chinese people from Taiwan and Hong Kong was proven to be tremendously high during the 4-day game. They can express their creativity by adding their own-created expectation and religious ideas (i.e.: 有佛法就有辦法) to their lyrics and songs, and then insisted those added ideas would be the extracts from the original religious concepts.
During the 4-day game, I am acting as a terrist to be defended by the self-assigned "Ethics Team". It's an extremely exausting game for me. I was not allowed to go to any sheltered place to escape from the cold weather, even though the Cold Weather Warning was announced by the Hong Kong Weather Department during all the nights of the 4-day game. I hadn't got enough rest at night as well - participants were officially given not enough 8 hours to sleep each night. And during all the period of the game, I was treated as a prisoner and the freedom of moving around or getting out of the campus were highly restricted or strictly forbidden.
During the 4-day game, for acting as the role of a terrorist, I was Counter-Striked hardly. Now, only Half Life of me was left... Half of my Life and most of my health and lots of my spirit were wasted...

Besides, many people always partially extracted phrases of traditional Chinese idioms with the words of the same pronounciation but wrong writing and hence, misleaded other the meanings of those partially mentioned Chinese idioms. For example, when people using the idiom: 三界惟心, they meant that they were saying something which were not related or even were contradict with what they thought. The right writing should be: 三界違心. This may be because the pronounciation of 違 is the same as that of 惟. The same kind of error repeated for the use of 萬法惟識 with repect to 萬法違識 - they were doing something which were contradict with basic human knowledge but they used the idioms 萬法惟識 to describe what they've done. When they were suffering from the adverse consequence due to their carelessness or poor arrangement, they would use their specially-created-by-their-own slogan, 有佛法就有辦法, so as to self-entertain and hence instruct their followers to continue the programme with mistakes rather than to stop for re-thinking or re-arranging a better and more conscious solution.
Besides, the creativity of Chinese people from Taiwan and Hong Kong was proven to be tremendously high during the 4-day game. They can express their creativity by adding their own-created expectation and religious ideas (i.e.: 有佛法就有辦法) to their lyrics and songs, and then insisted those added ideas would be the extracts from the original religious concepts.
During the 4-day game, I am acting as a terrist to be defended by the self-assigned "Ethics Team". It's an extremely exausting game for me. I was not allowed to go to any sheltered place to escape from the cold weather, even though the Cold Weather Warning was announced by the Hong Kong Weather Department during all the nights of the 4-day game. I hadn't got enough rest at night as well - participants were officially given not enough 8 hours to sleep each night. And during all the period of the game, I was treated as a prisoner and the freedom of moving around or getting out of the campus were highly restricted or strictly forbidden.
During the 4-day game, for acting as the role of a terrorist, I was Counter-Striked hardly. Now, only Half Life of me was left... Half of my Life and most of my health and lots of my spirit were wasted...
